Exciting news! With the help of our generous supporters, the Jbay Recycling project has achieved our goal of raising R15 000 for Christmas gifts. We were able to bring joy to many children in our community, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
But our work doesn’t stop there. Our next fundraising drive is to raise R19 000 to supply 30 sets of soccer boots, shin guards, and field socks at a cost of 30 Mula each. Mula is our imaginary currency, and 30 Mula is equivalent to 15 kilograms of plastic brought in by a child to be recycled. To put that into perspective… that would equate to roughly 210 plastic bottles.
We believe that sports can have a significant impact on children in underprivileged communities. Not only do they learn important life skills, but they also develop healthy habits and positive relationships with their peers. By donating to our cause, you’re not just supporting soccer equipment for children in our community, but you’re also promoting sustainable environmental practices.
Please consider donating to our cause through our PayPal link, Direct Bank Transfer, or our GoFundMe page. Your generosity helps us continue our work in the community, and we appreciate any support you can offer. Thank you for supporting the Jbay Recycling project!
